Map Coordinates Addon

If you find coordinates useful but don’t necessarily want (or need) to look at them constantly then you will like this addon. The coordinates will only be visible while viewing a map item. If you’ve played Console Edition then you’ll notice that it works basically the same way as on there. The X, Y and Z coordinates are displayed in the very top of the map.

Updated: 18 August, 2017 (added beta/debug text remover for 1.2, fixed /title bug, new icon and a few little tweaks)

How does it work?

First off you will need an empty map (crafted with 8 papers and 1 compass). Then press on the Create Map button to create it. You can then find the new map in your inventory.

Equip it in your hand and then look down at the map to view the coordinates. The coordinates are only visible for as long as you’re viewing the map.

Cool addon, but why does it mention the PC edition crafting recipe for maps instead of the PE one?

Hey, nice addon. But I find that when doing commands, it’s annoying having to memorise. Maybe just a pair of coordinates somewhere in the chat. So you could glance and puff. No more memorising

Wow great to idea in fact this will help me a lot <3 tyvm

  22. Ryaniskira says:

Really nice, and fixes a glaring issue with Bedrock edition. It has just one issue, the coordinates do not work when the map is in your offhand, it only works when the map is in a normal innovatory slot and is selected.

I can’t figure out how to make the map bigger with the crafting table? I can’t move items around like in the video…

  24. Vexiified says:

It’s not working. Don’t know why.

  25. MrJazzinator says:

  27. Chicken says:

Doesn’t work on iOS in 1.2.1. :(. I like the idea though, especially that you made it more survivally than just having coordinates on screen at all times. I really hope you can update this to work with 1.2+

  28. MinerGirl says:

Is there anyway to make this work for the new update? i never play with cheats. so disappointed!

  29. Anonymous says:

Just curious are you not able to fix this to work with the the 1.2+ update?

  30. A13X0823 says:

Ik this doesn’t work and it’s not ur fault there’s nothing you can do because he developers are complete idiots and have ruined the game by removed many things, example legit survival coords

    • Goldenfoxx says:

Exactly. I haven’t and won’t play Minecraft again until coordinates are available away from the cheats menu, and I say that having just bought an Oculus Rift just before the release of the 1.2 update almost exclusively for Minecraft. I can’t speak for anyone but myself, but for me, the game has been utterly ruined by it.
