Pelt Addon

This addon will change the way you play Minecraft (to some extent) as you will actively need to search for a village before you can craft certain items. Furred animals such as Horses and Llamas now drop pelts which is a new item. It can then be traded with a villager to obtain leather. The leather is the same old leather which you can use for crafting certain items. In that sense, it’s a bit more realistic.

How does it work?

Pelt is dropped by Horses, Llamas, Silverfish, Cows, Polar Bears, Wolves and Ocelots.

You can use this pelt to trade with a new villager known as The Tanner. The Tanner is the only one who can transform the pelt into leather which then can be used as usually for crafting. By using this add-on it will be the only way of getting leather (apart from collecting rabbit hide).

    I believe I am first

I would appreciate it if you could make all of your add-one compatible and if you told me what program you used, so I could make my own add-on that adds new things.

I am sorry if this is considered spam because I asked random questions on your more blocks add-on and the trophies add-on

The addons are usually made with notepad, I’m not sure what program if there is one. Copy the code from mobs and change it in notepad or another program. (Btw, I’m not the map creator, just trying to help)

I am using a combination of paint.net (textures) and Visual Studio Code (JSON).

Compatibility: I am not able to do this. I could, to some extend combine the item adding addons but definitely not the blocks. Huge downside: It would be a giant file size & you’re forced to take exactly the combination of my addons I want you to.
But, I really like the idea of an addon pack and I’ve actually thought earlier today about doing it.

Also since armor also has data values can you try to add those too? Plz

    • solvedDev says:

Armor uses the data values for durability. In addition, we cannot apply textures to different data values of tools/armor.

This will be my last comment of the day I promise, if you can find a way to make it so that you can have new foods into Minecraft

    • solvedDev says:

New food was possible for a short time but was removed to make it clearer what a resource pack is and what a behavior (data) pack is. They’ve got this ready and you can find a items.json file in MCPE but they haven’t reactivated it. That’s why it’s currently not possible.

Can you make your own name tag specific mobs, for instance if you name a rabbit toast it changes texture, this would be useful for adding new mobs:)

Wait! Do the new villager professions replace other villager professions?

Can you make a Native American Addon? Retexture armor, swords, axes, the villagers, and the pelts?

    • VaderGuy5217 says:
