4 Pillar Survival PE [Survival]

4 Pillar Survival is challenging survival map where you will find yourself stranded on a skyblock island surrounded by four huge pillars. Each pillar symbolizes a biome (or in one case a dimension) and together they include most blocks which you would find in an ordinary survival world. You’ll also find a villager in each pillar which you can trade with to obtain better items and blocks.

Ported by: Dauntain (includes PE customizations)
Creator: JonCris (original PC map)

How to play?

The main objective is to survive for as long as possible. But there is also a list of challenges which you need to complete to complete the map. Some of the challenges might be impossible since that list was written for the PC version of this map.

You can find a full list of challenges here.

On the inside of each pillar you’ll find a villager.

There are also treasures and ores which might come useful for your survival.

I am using command blocks to automate some things (cobble, wood, mob…etc…) and accidental killed the villagers. What four villagers were in the pillars? A clerk, a tool smith and what else?

This map is very fun, and I’ve played it over and over again. However, there is a way you can make custom trades for villagers. You need an app that allows you to make addons, (you should know what addons are), also, you’re going to have to implement the addon into the world, and yeah, Now you post the world again and BOOM! custom trades (this is the way I think it’s done, I’ve never posted a map or have made an addon before)

I can’t find two of the chest I have found the nether spawn , the 4 pillars top, the islands top and bottom and the bottom obsidian chest that makes 8 where are the others. And to deal whith mobs on the bed rock go down and light it up or use as mobile farm. And if you go faround enought out you can get more sand and dirt

In the 1.1.3 mcpe update there are so glitches that made it possible to get a second lava sorce I was making my nether portal and when I went to pick up the lava it duplicate I’m now wondering if you can do it with water and the world spawn is for some reason on those bedrock platforms behind the dirt pillar plz fix if possible and add named paper or an achievement wall so we know the challenges

Lapis is available via villager trading (2nd tier Cleric). I concur that the extra bedrock far out from spawn in the overworld would be ideal to clean up, but that doesn’t make the port unplayable. I’d also make the same comment about the nether, which is cleared out around your initial spawn but is a full nether once you go out far enough. Ideally nothing else would exist in the nether. Overall I’ve enjoyed many hours playing this map, great job to the creator and person who ported it. I haven’t yet run into anything I couldn’t craft.

FINALLY! Tahnk you very much Dauntain for porting this map, I saw the survival on youtube and it was amazing! Finally I can do it myself!

    • Dauntain says:

You are welcome! That’s where I saw it first, too, and I’d tried building it before, but without villager trading I couldn’t complete a lot of the challenges, so as soon as they finally made trading work I got the map back out and (somewhat) finished it. Still needs a little work – I’m trying to get it more like the old PC maps.

How do I get infinite water, I can’t find anymore buckets of water. Is it in the nether?

  20. Jonathan Wibowo says:

Well, my minecraft pe is little lagging now, may it will force close sometimes

  21. Random says:

I made a mob farm but it was not working vert well. I realise that the mob were spawning on some block of bedrock on the bottom of the map and there is a lot of blocks. Can you try to fix this please.

    • Dauntain says:

I haven’t been able to figure out what is causing that; I’ve cleared those blocks several times and when I save they just come back, but I will keep working on it. I’m also trying to redo the Nether to be in line with the original map; I will re-upload once these issues are fixed. Please let me know if there is anything else that I can work on to improve or make this more like the original survival map. Thanks!
