I can't find the biome, what is it called to find it in the seed finder? Extreme hills biome no longer exists

I noticed something about the download files.. When I download the v1.2 files and then the v1.1 it tells me they are both the same file when I open them onto Minecraft. Are they the correct files? I feel differences in the coding of the files would lead to the game thinking they are different add-ons. And is it supposed to be v1.0.0 on Minecraft? I felt I had this version for the first time I got this.

You should only download the ones called 1.2.2 BP, and 1.2.2 RP, the other files are previous versions of the addon

I just felt that the add-ons are not properly updating. I'd expect the later versions of the addon to update the addon version yet it stays 1.0.0 and said duplicate file. Now that 1.2.2 is out I tried downloading it when I loaded 1.2 in and still says duplicate file detected.

You just have to delete the previous versions. Even if it says it is version 1.0 you will notice that it is a new version.

Ah yea, i wasn't playing Minecraft when I was getting new versions. I kind of just based it on a new version being like 1.0.5 or 1.1.0 as a example.
