This is an add-on for version 1.8 of Minecraft which adds a few more features for the panda. You will now be able to tame pandas and use them for various new tasks. The panda is a beautiful animal and it’s really useful if you just want more ways to interact with the animal and even bringing it with you as a companion on your journeys in Minecraft.

How does it work?
You can tame a Panda by feeding it some bamboo. It might take several tries before you’ve successfully tamed it. After you’ve tamed it then it will be loyal to your as the owner.
For example, it will follow you around and even protect you against hostile threats. You can also make it sit or stand.
It’s also possible to ride it by opening the inventory (while seated on the panda) and place a cake in the saddle slot. You can use bamboo to increase the speed.

The pandas only follow me if I’m holding bamboo and they never protect me either also is the sitting meant to stop them from moving, because it does’nt seem to work like that.

Hey guys if you need to ride the cute pandas you need to tame it, make it sit and put the cake on the ride slot, it worked for me.
