Glitched i died and respawned without a issue my version is 1.18.12 tried to have fun since i wanted to survive without cheats in survival but it genuinely does seem like a fun concept kinda overused but eh ill find one that works eventually

Did you have other addons installed? If you do make sure this is on top because it does affect the player.json file.
