Playing Ghost Hunters, you visit haunted locations to collect evidence of Ghosts. But you're not the only one hunting! Paranormal activity drains sanity of players and allows Ghosts to appear and hunt to turn everyone in Ghosts as well.

There will be another update. It's impressive how many people still look at this post/map.

Most important features:
- DOORS RESET NOW ✌️
- New Grafton, new Westwater map
- All maps visually updated
- new superior evidence selection
- new items like the Monkey Paw
- handling changes for items/equipm.
- new UV-evidences🤚👣
- new light system on maps

I hope you understand that there are other independent versions of this map. CHANGES AFTER 4.0 are not included here!!!

how's gonna work the new light system?
can also you give a litlle increase for ghosts speed? its easy to outrun them even without sprint even from the fastest ones😓, do you have plans to add line-of-sight feature in any next update?

Hello. The new light system means a new way how I used command blocks for light switches/power. It's more compact and advanced, like it won't happen anymore that you have to press a button twice.. On top there are new (custom) light sources and light is generated by block-state-toggle. The third change in this regard is a significant darkened view of distant areas. The game will be darker if you have no lights on (100% shaded black at 20 blocks distance).

There's no line-on-sight feature. Should I really increase ghost speed? Not all players are as good as you. 🤔

thats interesting! will all rooms now have light? 20 blocks arent a bit far? cause we just have small maps besides Hillside... wont be better 10 blocks or less? oh sorry i meant if you will add the line-of-sight* mechanism of phasmo in any future update. thats not true lol im not a good good player but yeah i think you should increase their speed! it ends up being easy loop them around, they should have a bit more speed than the player, i mean you can sprint forever anyway! i was searching for gameplays on YT, i finded one guy small channel its Ghosence if im right the guy just loops everything! thats why i think they should be faster 😁

I mean you have to be able to loop them, right. Otherwise a hunt is a death sentence if you are not hidden and got no smudge sticks around.
The 20 blocks are enough. It's difficult to explain exactly what they mean.

well your word is what counts in the end XD ah just one more thing theres a "cheatie" method to make money in thw map you know theres the power off task if you see it in task board you can just start the match in the max difficulty with no power and come back earning like about 90 money the same about 0% sanity task... :/ its not a BIGIE thing i guess but good to mention thx for giving it some thought!

It's Minecraft. If you want to cheat, there are endless options.
And if you want to get rich, don't use your method. Use /scoreboard.

Also i'd like to share idea for another one but more simple, it's from islamic culture just like Jinn.

Ifrit
The demon of flames, generally ruthless and wicked, formed out of smoke and fire.

Strength: Increases the chance of hunt along with speed when there is a lit candle nearby. (the more lit candles nearby, higher the chance of hunt).

Ability: Lights up candles nearby.

Weakness: Without lit candles nearby its weak. It will never blows out candles.

It's like a reverse Onryo. What's your opinion?

I'm not motivated to find a solution to add the Onryo, your ghost works similar. And it might be a rare case that there are multiple lit candles on the floor (well, summoning circle). So I won't take your idea. The biggest problem is: I'm not much into this hobby anymore and don't want to spend time on annoying codes :(

It's all fine and completely understandable, I just like this map very much and wanted to share some ideas that I think would be good :D . Deathly, can you give some spoilers about the new ghost coming? The Sluagh? Also this update it's gonna be definitely the last one?

I appreciate it a lot! The Sluagh is a very stalky ghost.. and I can't say if this is the last update. How do I know what I'm spending my leasure time on in the future.

Ooh 👁️👁️, I like very much these different ghosts like Ghoul, their concepts really please me, the Sluagh has now excited me! Your maps are amazing, both Phasmophobia, Alien Isolation and Apex'L, i wish they had much more visibility as they are very well made! Now i'm gonna stop bothering you, Deathly, wish you good!

Will the cursed mirror be added in the next update?
and have you thought of a cool name for it?
(I suggest something to do with Eyes or seeing as it seems the cameras are gonna be the biggest feature in the update or atleast the most stand out)

No, there won't be a mirror. Just the monkeyPaw. And I don't think the new video camera will be interesting. The only reason using it is to find orbs.
The update has the very lame name "quality update".
And I had/have no intentions with patreon - last time I looked, there were 0 members (I saw the recent number XD). I wonder how so many people found the rather hidden link.

Hello, i'd like to share one idea i have for a ghost. Dullahan, it's not you who come to the house to hunt him but him who comes to the house to hunt you. He would work like this, a agressive ghost with 0 activity and evidence in the beggining because he not arrived yet, but as soon as you enter the house he will arrive at any moment, when he arrives a hunt will happens from the entrance of the place(can be considered one weakness, it will give you time to run or hide or if you are in the entrance and see him arising, well, you will know it's probably the Dullahan, heh) giving a sudden EMF 5 spike and from that point he will act as a normal agressive ghost and give normal activity and evidence. His strengths is that he's very fast, not fast like Revenant but still fast and he can use a ability that he can see every player in the map like Deogen, but he will not use this ability all time, there will be a chance for him to use it(35%), also his ghost appearence event will drain more sanity (inspired this from the legends that says no one can outrun him, will punish everyone curious who look at him while he's "doing his job" and that he can hold up his head and see everyone in any distance with his supernatural sight). His only weakness if you don't consider the first one, is that his ghost model don't will have head. I think it's a very interesting ghost idea, because you can easily mistook him with a shade due to 0 activity in the beggining. Hope you like the idea! 😉

It's an interesting concept but too much characteristics compared to the other types I've coded. To increase intuition it might be more practical to describe the ghost as "sleeping" and a "need to wake it", before it is getting active & angry.
I'll add your basic idea to my notes. However, new ghost types usually have a neglectable influence on the gameplay as they only appear very rarely and players often don't even recognize the ghost for the most time. That's why I generally focus on other features while adding ~1 ghost/update.

There is one on the back wall in Tanglewood in the bedroom with a command block behind it, I don't know what it does. It's a custom creepy painting

I don't know which painting has been there, since these custom paintings are long gone on my developer map. But I once added a set of custom paintings that had movable elements. If the ghost interacted with a painting, the eyes would blink or jaw drop... Details so small, nobody would notice them. I removed them since it's a good practice to minimize the number of entities.

Wait are there any new ghosts in this update?? When I was exploring the command section of the lobby, where you are not supposed to be I saw something titled "The Twins" and Asylum. Are these added in this update??

It will still take some time. Coding minecraft is the very last of my priorities nowadays.

And as always, you get direct access. Although you can't really call MCPEDL direct: the MediaFire-link works instantly.

I have a bug on my computer where MediaFire just does not load. It limits everything and Linkvertise leads to MediaFire. The only reason I could get this map is because the link was on site, even if it made you wait. So if it is possible then please do put it on this site. I am in awe of your coding skill, you are the coder I always wanted to be. DeathlyTroll, you have a coding superpower.

I think the crucifix needs a better guide or their should be an expanded item guide for items you buy

Also we need more ghost types that share 2 atributes since some dont share 2 atributes and it makes them really easy to figure out.

Also the evidence text needs a darker color since its kinda hard to see

Also incase you didnt see my post on modbay i think the map should be moved down by a good bit since its impossible to get rain and the snow covers the map

And also players should drop items (possibly into the entitys) and not be able to use the evidence book when they die since ive had some players not drop the items we needed for the investigation

Also finger prints seem to apear inside the door rather than on it sometimes and they also dont appear in the ghost room but ouside of it

Also i think the power switch location should be randomised since I like being able to find it if i play power off and knowing where it is makes it super easy

Ok last thing since this is getting too long

I think with the new cameras update there should be head mounted cameras or someone in the van should be able to see in a camera the player is holding.

Also a map of the building could be nice so players could guide eachother.

Also maby a meter like 3 lights from red yellow green in the van that tells you when something paranormal goes on in the building maby with a sound effect of beeping or something too

Sanity meter should also be reworked so it looks nicer and could track sanity better.

And maps should reload so lights are off and doors re close

Some of your ideas are obsolete now:
Just yesterday I finished new uv evidence: fingerprints (& 👣🙂) no longer appear floating in the air and both fade out.
The evidence book has gotten a 100% rework, looking similar to the MC book now, always showing all ✅ and the possible ghosts. Every updte will bring new ghost types, but I add them very slowly. This time there's one new (and a couple of improved types)
Closed doors were requested so often that I had to add it eventually 😆
Your other ideas might be subject for future updates!

Hey Deathly!

I was just wondering in v5.0 if maby you could add a setting or something along those lines that would let you lose equipment you leave behind?

I feel it would be a fun challenge scrambling to grab all our gear and get out before we die and have to save up to buy it again and I think it adds more replayablity to the map and gives a goal to the player.

It's a good idea for certain games like the map that I'm working on currently (EfT-like). But I don't know how well it fits to Phasmophobia. And I think it's too much work for something that would have low priority.

Item storage will get an update though. I.e. items are no longer stackable (1 smudge stick = 1 slot etc.) which will limit the amount of equipment on the map.

Got it :d, also another question deathly, how similar is the game to the original Phasmophobia? its like identical or are some things different? like demon has the ability to hunt at any sanity? banshee has the iconic scream? Oni cant produce the "airball" scream event? things like that.

Not very similar anymore. The game has made huge progress while I haven't touched this map for more than a year now. I also intended to add some differences, mostly to make this map less complex.
But I tried to recreate ghost abilities accurately. When they were functional for Minecraft and when I was able to implement it.

man this is cool, i cant imagine how much effort you put into this map especially considering the limitations of Minecraft, and I like the differences in the map, like the ghost leaving the house, it made me laugh several times😁, and it even makes more sense when you stop to think👀. Best mcpe map in my opinion, wish for you the best👍

Remarkable, and amazing. The best map to ever grace this site, hands down. Had some geniune scares, and was a blast with friends.
Kudos to the creator, this one right here is going to be my go-to horror map. Awesome map. Congratulations! I hope some Bedrock youtuber uses this map and you make it big!

There was one bug: the players except the person who is hosting the world, are able to Mine the maps. I had to go in the menu and toggle it off myself. Other than that, big thumbs up.

Thanks you! There are things that I don't mind leaving untouched if there is no simple solution. You can manipulate everything in Minecraft anyway if you want.
The building toggle is an example.
