Whats the drop rate of getting items from the trees? Because building netherite tree seems very very op. Same with diamond.

2% for saplings, 2% for the main resource, and 96% for nothing. Additionally, there are the resources from the logs.

the trees are a scam i got 6 coal back even tho it took 8 coal to make

You can get a sapling that means 8 coal.
