This resource pack brings back the textures and sounds from the original Minecraft Java alpha to your current game. This is a great way to relive memories or see what Minecraft was like back then without sacrificing any current features, or if you just prefer the old textures like I do.

Is it intentional for the door/trapdoor sounds to still be the current default? and the chest opening sound is silent, there isn’t a sound set for it. I love this resource pack very much, and the door sounds and old chest sound is the only thing missing!

Hello! Can I use your texture pack and edit it to keep the textures up-to-date? I've noticed you eeited some later blocks that aren't included in the Original Alpha textures. Thought it might be cool to add new blocks too like the Tuff, Deepslate, and really any later updates.

Could change the way the piston looks to make it look like it did back in the days when it was a mod.
(Don't know if it's possible to make a behaviour pack that when sheep gets hit it gives you wool, and then it looses its skin.) Could also change the controls appearance.
