If you are looking for an easy way to find a desert temple then here's a great option for you. Literally in front of spawn there's a temple and it got a lot of good treasures safely stored in the bottom of the temple. It's almost too easy!

Just 10-15 blocks away from spawn is an amazing desert temple which has partly been generated in a river. Enter the temple and destroy the colored blocks in the center of the floor to find the treasures. Just make sure not to drop down as that can kill you, also avoid the pressure plate because that will absolutely kill you as it will set off a redstone TNT trap.
In the chests are the following items:
- 8 gold ingots
- 4 iron ingots
- 7 bones
- 14 rotten flesh
It's great seed to start out in as the spawn is in the center of where many different biomes meet (desert, savannah, flat landscape, forests). Just pick and choose in which biome you want to continue your gameplay.
