the flying boom rarely works

perhaps use the /tickingarea command to make the items work everywhere?

If you want this to work all across the world type in this command while standing next to the command blocks /tickingarea add circle ~ ~ ~ 4 One
When you type that in go far enough away that you can’t see the command blocks and try the items they still work
