IMO it's way too cheap now, what if to balance things out, instead of using diamonds, change it to using the echo shard? Could be one or two shards, or one echo shard and one diamond. Also I believe the upgrade trim should stay like vanilla

i believe that for being purely cosmetic, they shouldn't cost any diamonds at all, just the block/material. i also think that there should be no netherite upgrade template, as it eliminates netherite as a whole from many multiplayer servers that have already looted bastions for thousands of blocks. i dont know if this is a good compromise, seeing as you still have to sell your grandmother to get blue lines on your helmet, but it is 1000 times better than what mojang had. your idea would give a use to echo shards though. but then the trims wouldn't be renewable, as there are only so many echo shards in a world AND you have to raid a deep dark to get them. all in all thought, i think both of our ideas are better than the vanilla right now. and thanks for the feedback!

Thank you all so much for 1000 downloads!

Do you think one diamond is a bit TOO cheap? Maybe it should be more like 3 diamonds.

could you do a version where only the cosmetic ones are cheaper while the upgrade trim stays normal since it is a bit to cheap

Hmm, yeah sure. That sounds like a good idea.
