That would probably lag using scripts rn, since there isn't a direct entity.biome, and I wouldn't want it to lag. If there's a better way to detect biomes using scripts that gets added, I might do this.

I'm not sure how i would make this without changing base game minecraft features.

That’s because Minecraft starts counting from day 0

that's because sunrise doesn't count as a new minecraft day, u gotta wait a bit longer and the vanilla day counter updates

the only difference i see is that it makes click sounds and just adds the day at the bottom

It isn't supposed to be useful, it's supposed to be atmospheric.

Like the reg day counter is just a static number on the screen, this happens when it turns day, and it just makes it feel more "alive" I guess.

I wish I could do biome, but the only way to detect what biome the player's in with stable scripts is with weird and very unoptimized work arounds. (At least from what I've seen)
