The Ford GT '17 was created in honor of the original Ford GT, with the mission to continue it's legacy. The original GT was one of the only cars to take down Ferrari in the 24h of Le Mans, and became legendary for it. In 2017, Ford remade the GT using more modern aero designs, and used it to win the 24h of Le Mans once again.
