Many people in the minecraft community have complained about the textures of the maps, to be more precise the texture of the filled map. It was for that reason that I redesigned that, and now the difference between an empty map and a filled map is more noticeable (also I redesigned the textures of the other maps)
The compass was also modified, adding the classic blue needle that indicates south.
