Hello, yes, it can be compatible with most, even if another addon has animals with family type "animal", the mount anchor could be used in their inventory to make them immobile.

Hi. Yes, only cats and dogs follow you. If the iron golem followed you, it wouldn't be able to stay guarding your home area, but you can mount it and take it wherever you want, and you can leave it stationary if you place the "mount anchor" item in its inventory.
