Why do you need command blocks?
Just make the fuction like this:tp @s ^ ^1 ^ or someting, theres a better version of thru that has no setup, LS admin tools have a thru thats better, no set up , i use ls admin tool, nice try tho

Hold up a moment. Why do you enclose the command blocks? They can't be broken in survival mode, or blown up, or anything. I can't imagine it makes things easier to manage.

Do you have redstone or something you're also protecting? Bc otherwise I can't recommend you continue doing this.
