The warden is a hostile creature that is summoned by sculk screechers. They are completely blind creatures, and thus use vibrations and their sense of smell to identify and locate players and other creatures. They are extremely powerful, and have the most damage and health of any creature in the game. The warden is the tallest creature in the game, measuring almost 2 blocks wide and 3 blocks high, with a collision box that is 2.9 blocks high and 0.8 blocks wide. His body is made of sculk and bone-like material, the latter of which is noticeable in his arms, feet, and most noticeably the ribs on his chest and the spine on his back. He has a pair of antennae on his head, no eyes or a conventional face, and his chest has a set of souls that light up the more disturbed he is.Wardens emerge from the ground when a sculk screecher is activated three times and there is no warden 48 blocks around it. Up to 20 attempts are made to spawn one in an 11×13×11 box centered on the screecher. Wardens require a light level of 11 or less to spawn. A warden is completely invulnerable when surfacing or burrowing, even from /kill damage, though it can be knocked back by entities, pistons, and liquids. After sixty seconds (1200 ticks, one minute) of being "calm" and not detecting any vibrations, he burrows back into the ground and disappears.
