The map was made in a week to complete the dream story. All spin-offs are a small experiment to understand what you like or don't like. Now all the forces go to Stay Alive 2, it takes a long time to make it, and therefore I release spin-offs so that there are no big holes between releases of the Stay Alive series.

what... was this sequel?

the first map in the ditd series was intense, nerve-wracking and very atmospheric. the chase scene was one of the best i've seen in bedrock horror maps. had it received more recognition, it would have become a horror map classic by now - yes that was how good it was.

part 2 was underwhelming and, simply put, utterly shameful apart from the decent map build and custom decorations. literally the ENTIRE focus on the map was to loot chests, get keys and open doors. there was no sign of an antagonist anywhere, absolutely no horror element, and at the end of everything, surprise surprise it all turns out to be a pointless dream.

i hate being blunt in my reviews especially towards a content creator i look up to but sorry this needs to be said: part 2 is not worth anyone's time. unless there was something i was missing or a faulty cutscene that made me skip all the interesting bits, i will stick with my review and its corresponding 1-star rating.

just read this and i'm really sorry about that, i wasn't aware of the context and so i assumed this was the real deal for part 2 of stay alive ditd, that's why i ended up sorely disappointed. apologies if my comment was offensive earlier on.

since that's the case, i'm really looking forward to the official sequel! after all the more feedback you receive from the spinoffs the better. as for my input it would be to minimize the chest-looting because it's quite repetitive.
