And also make a new tutorial on How to add custom cape with the rarity texture.
Like are the Custom ones, Vanilla capes and the April Fool capes
Also help me why the Experience bottle does not work. And add support for adding more capes if u can. Pls do it. (Also if you can make the capes selection from the custom GUI, but also in a new section in Dressing room new section: Visual Capes Addon Capes, or into the Owned Capes section if u can do it plssssssss)
Edit: I rated 5 stars
For the cape with rarity texture tutorial, I just forgot to upload one but I already have a 53s quick tutorial video, if you ever want to I can post it on my YouTube Channel.
For the Rarity System with Survival Tweaks, the item required are needed specifically in your hotbar and the count must be exact same in your entire hotbar because Mojang currently does not support flexible item counting for some reason. (i.e. Legendary Cape needs 4 Enchanted Golden Apple and 64 Experience Bottle, those items needs to be exact 64 XP Bottles and 4 Enchanted Apples to your entire hotbar before it work. Basically you need 4 Enchanted Apples and 65 XP Bottles with the one you're throwing is named as "Reward Convert".) I might able to solve this problem soon.
Adding more capes might be possible sooner. At this point, there is still no compatibility of implementing it without turning on Experimental Toggles, you can currently used the capes slot since there are now 10 slots instead of 5.
Thank you for the honest feedback and kind rating. I really appreciated it!
Also when the next mayor update of the addon will come?
i have a question about the addon as i decided to check if every cape was there. i noticed there are capes missing and i was wondering if there was a reason. ill list the capes below: (source cape page from the minecraft wiki)
- The API Testing Capes (because why not lol)
- Skin Pack Capes
- Unused Capes (2011 voting capes & bedrock skin pack unused capes)
- and technically the new MMC Cape (but that is new so can't blame you lol)
is there a reason why these capes are not included in the pack?(minus the mmc cape)
this is still an amazing addon that i now use when i can because its just a cool addition to be able to use any cape whenever i want ^^
I actually want to add them all but some of the capes I might consider them as deprecated like the API Test Capes because they were supposed to be a experimental cape texture and might have some problems rendering transparency because I do not want to modify how the cape renders, it might cause some rendering issues.
For the Skin Packs cape designs, they can be added as custom capes but their real sources is unconfirmed (and most of them are in the Minecraft Fandom Wiki and not the official one) and they were used based on the skin texture of their specific skin pack so it might wont fit to the character of what you have.
I might add them all in the next major update of this addon, I'm still having some trouble reserving my development pack of this addon.
Also thanks for the honest feedback, I really appreciate it!
its really up to you what capes you add to the addon. just having version 2 and what it has is an amazing blessing! just don't overwork yourself with the new update ^^'

Edit: It's just a little bit jittery (not that much) but I think it's caused by vanilla minecraft cape animation.
If minecraft education has 1.21 version, even the version 2.0 should work
