Working Nether Reactor!

Before the time the nether portal introduced in 0.12.0 and even before Pocket Edition becoming Bedrock, there was only one way that allowed you to obtain nether resources and other miscellaneous items; a Nether Reactor. It's been over 3 years since we'd see any sign of it until today.

Please help this is not working anymore for me. It used to work perfectly for me, but now it just doesn't. I can craft and built exactly right, but no matter how much I click, how straight at it I look, it just doesn't wanna start. I am (I think) a good distance away from the machine so that it stays loaded and doesn't get destroyed. I am on 1.11.4 btw and before you ask, your End Reactor works perfectly for me. What is going on? Did updating the game break it? I'm gonna give 3 stars because of this problem, but if it started working again, I'd gladly increase my rating.

You said it was a good distance away to not break it so im going to assume you were over 60 blocks away from the contraption which caused it to unload. That though is my bad for not adding a ticking area at the contraption but it will be updated to be more compact, accurate, and hopefully more flexible.

I'd say you need tocheck out the old reaxtor a bit more...if i remember correctly back in my day the core produced an overflow of obsidian....

I build the Nether Reactor With the core in the middle and the Nether Structure doesn't spawn in

What? How did you get nether reactor and obsidian into the inventory? Like how is it in the creative tools like I search it up it’s there but I do it on my world but it doesn’t work

I put a glowing obsidian texture on obsidian and I put the nether reactor core texture on redstone ore so it isnt the real thing but its a very close recreation of it

This Nether Reactor Map is still in work in progress! Hopefully Version 2 is next

Yes it still is a work in progress. In the future (dont know how soon or far in the future) I will update it to resemble the actual nether spire and have the pigmen use similar behaviors as in the past
