[2.1] Alylica’s Advancements - Armored Paws

Ever want to play with Addons but don’t want to loose out on achievements? Wished bedrock had all the advancements Java did?

Well this is the pack for you, this addon includes as many of the original java advancements as i could fit into it!

Somehow, it’s not working for me. My friend’s one worked but only with ‘Remote Gateway’ and it didn’t appear on his screen. Only in the chat.

Use scripts. Better way of detecting certain events and will work without player.json

Hello friend, I think this module is great, but it still lacks some progress.
When I obtained the raw wood block, it did not show the progress of "obtaining wood".
When I obtained a pick, it did not show "mining time".
I hope you can improve these.
And I think it's necessary to complete the Chinese language.

that is because there is not advancements for those goals

this addon is for creating the advancements, not the old achievements feature

Getting a bit ahead of yourself there. The pack currently doesn’t support translations, so it can’t be translated (unless I were to make each language a seperate pack) till a future update

Hi Alilyca, this is wonderful pack! I was searching couple times for exactly this but I was typing "Achievements" maybe add that word to tags or somewhere to have better hitrate on search.
.
This could be perfect base for competition at a new realm season. Players to chase for the advancements and compete in number of completed ones and the overall advancements score. Should you be adding the "Progress display function", as mentioned in comment lower, please consider adding also the scores and toggle to display the scoreboard.

I love the idea of a scoreboard mechanic that can be activated with a function! I’ll make sure to include that with the next update which shall hopefully be soon :)

Outstanding job! 2 suggestions I have that I think would make this even better. Make a function that would display all possible achievements in chat sort of like a list so people know easily what all there is to get. secondly possibly add a function to check the progress of a player and display how many achievements the player has completed out of the total number. Thanks!
