most likely, here the spawn is tied to the structure itself, like the ocean monument and pillager outpost (in this case, to its block- "nether_bricks").
but still, the mod is wonderful!
Sometimes Addons still give the popup for no reason, i have not verified this but it should not disable achievements completely as long as you don't have any cheats on, but again, i have not verified this. i could be wrong. but from what i last remember they have let achievements still work even with the pop-ups
