This add-on adds 51 different butterflies which you can find in different biomes such as forests, jungles and so on. The butterflies are perfectly harmless but add a fun and realistic element to the game. They also have custom animations, so they are very lifelike.

You should change the catch item to a glass bottle and when you catch the butterfly it turns into a "Butterfly in a jar" or something and it can work like a spawn egg so we can release it to fly around in our house or something

hi um I tried to download it and it took me to another site and that took me to a bunch of different sites which then resulted in innocent eyes seeing a porn website?! Excuse me but I did not sign up for that lol?? so I can’t download it or it goes to that again pls help

This addon should be included in vanilla minecraft because it would be great if vanilla minecraft had butterflies. Anyways great addon

"They're harmless" the description says. Lies, 70% of the comments say.
Also, why do the butterflies have more HP than chickens and take 6 punches to kill where in real life it only takes 1? Tone it down to 1 or 2.

Funny story about this addon one time it was really laggy so when I turn around there is a swarm of butterfly’s!!!! Anyways great addon!!!!

Hello, why do not you try to delete the addon? and then reinstall it because in the previous version of the addon this happened and in this version it is supposed to be repaired

i understand why u have the spewing eggs out but they do it to fast my game lags like no tomorrow so I hate using the mod if u could turn down the timer of when they lay eggs or add something u need to them to make them lay eggs that would be great

Please make the butterfly lifecycle much slower and add a natural predator that'll prey on the butterflies like a spider or something, also please try to fix the fact that trapped butterflies begin to horde in caves and lag out the place

Can you plz make the egg cycle too much slow like real life like it took 10 minecraft days to get a fully grown butter fly plzz.

after an hour my game was lagging so bad i could not figure out what it was. after i found a cave i also found countless butterflies and caterpillars. i had to trash the world cause i could not delete the over 20 types at once with commands. after checking your file i suggest you only allow stage 1 larva and butterflies in a min 0 // max 2. change all others to not spawn. then your pack will be balanced . Note : other mobs will not spawn after i installed this due to the high numbers. i will make this change on my end to my liking due to having other addons with xtra mobs. i will not upload any changes i make. if you ask i will be more than welcome to give you any update code ^_^ other than that this addon is great

They just need the bflies to lay egg once or two for a very long time. Like it was rare to lay eggs for butterflies so there wouldn't be a bunch of Caterpillar and cocoons lagging the game. I had the same trouble :(. I suggest delete the behavior pack of catterpillar and cocoon so you'll only have butterfly like back then if you want.

i donloaded the onld version im happy to see that it was updated i will donload the new version now
there is no insects in vanila minecraft :(
