Falsely's Flat Worlds is a collection of custom superflat worlds, constantly being updated. Currently, in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition it is not possible to create a custom flat world using the tools provided. However, I have created several flat worlds, with more being added all the time.

I tried using these but when I tried to create a superflat sandstone world, it did not work and created a regular flat world (5 blocks) instead

You have to use the world templates.
