Miki's Death Swap

Death Swap recreation in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition for 2 - 8 players. This was made in The Nether Update, but it should work on previous versions.

Death Swap is usually used by the youtuber Dream (go check him out!), although I'm not sure who used it originally.

Finally fixed the setup, now to setup the game just run the "setup" function and then the "run" function.
Armor Stands are now invisible again
Fixed a couple of minor issues
Whenever I upload the files on the Download - Website section for some reason they move to the Download - Apps section (for some reason the link 1 works but not the other links), that error is caused by MCPEDL and not by me, I'm just going to update the submission until that gets fixed.

I know how to make it work better. You can make the game/run function add a ticking area in it's spot to make sure it works even when far away

Thanks for commenting! Sadly that wouldn't work, since if you don't specify an area, it automatically uses the maximum area possible, which is what I did.

What I have in mind is simply generating more command blocks after running the function. I am not sure if this would work, but I don't see why not, however, I won't be able to work on it until the semester is over

When you install the addon, make sure to wait until every player connects to the world BEFORE typing the functions, otherwise it won't work. Also make sure that all players stay near to the command block, if they go to far the command block won't affect them.

if what I'm thinking is correct, I think that all you have to do is wait for a couple of seconds, but if not feel free to email me at [email protected] and please be more specific (I think that the problem is caused by addblockers, but I'm not sure)

This is pretty cool now that it's been updated. I would love to use it. Sadly, when playing it never counts down or swaps. Idk what's happening cus nothing we do will fix it. Still pretty awesome though!

the count down never goes down. ive waited 30 min and nothing happened.my friend had to leave and i was left alone. this is what exactly happens: game starts off like it should. my friend joined and i typed /function game/setup then i placed the command block typed /function game/run and set it on repeat and always active. my friend ran and i ran to get wood. after about 20 minutes nothings has happened then shortly after my friend left. i hope this helped you fix this problem, i rated 5 stars because i see a potential in this addon!!

Make sure that you are close to the command block, if you get too far away it will stop working, this is a minecraft limitation and there's nothing I can do about it. If that wasn't the problem, can you please tell me what you see on the chat after you run the setup function? first of all you should see a message that says "your name" is now player 1, then "your friend's name" is now player 2, then there should be some other messages explaining how to play, if you can't see the first message please let me know, it means that there's something wrong, but if you can see it it means that it probably works fine, but you were too far from the command block

Great idea! Love this. I would definitely use this, if it had a better setup/gameplay. For me and my friends, it wont start. So, as of now, I must resort to other ones :( But, keep it up! This looks EPIC. Cant wait for a polished version!

Thanks! In a few days (hopefully tomorrow) I'll release the fixed version, to set up the game you will just run the "setup" function and then the "run" function.

im playing with my friends on switch im on pc and it wont let them run the command. maybe can you add a way to run the command on their behalf?

Or if they still can't run the command, get a command block and type /execute @s ~ ~ ~ /functions players/player2 and make them press it (make sure to change it to player3 and so on depending on the number of players)

Make sure that they are ops, to do that type /op PlayerName
I know it's annoying but in a few days I'll release a version that only uses "setup" and "run"
