Changelog

MoreOres — Version 3

This update focuses on improving stability, simplifying systems, and making the upgrade mechanics more intuitive and closer to vanilla behavior.

Major Changes

The custom upgrade interface has been removed to simplify the addon and improve compatibility. • The equipment upgrade system has been reworked, making the process easier to understand and use. • Added support for the Netherite Upgrade Template in the Equipment Upgrade Table. • Improved clarity in the progression between different equipment tiers.

Gameplay Improvements

• The upgrade system is now more intuitive and closer to vanilla behavior. • Better integration of upgrade templates found in world structures. • Equipment upgrades now work more consistently across all tiers.

Compatibility

• Added a Loot Table compatibility warning, explaining possible conflicts with other addons that modify vanilla structure loot.

Fixes and Improvements

Removed the anti-break system, which prevented players from breaking blocks with tools that could not properly mine them. While the idea aimed to improve progression, the system ended up causing several bugs reported by players. • Fixed multiple internal issues. • Addon structure reorganized for better stability and future updates. • General optimizations and code cleanup.

Hello! I'd like to report a bug: every time I add a bag to my inventory, it crashes, especially if I have an item from the add-on in my inventory. Other than that, I loved your add-on from the little I've played in my world! I have some ideas for additions that could be really cool: Add pearl as a new gem, with armor that gives it a water effect. Include other gems like garnet, peridot, and bismuth (a reference to Steven Universe). Create a new mechanic where you can use gems like ruby, sapphire, topaz, jade, and others in a new enchantment table to generate unique enchantments (inspired by the Enchiridion from Adventure Time). Thank you for creating such a creative add-on that truly maintains the vanilla vibe! I'll definitely be following the updates.

The upgrade table doesn't work unless I'm doing it wrong

I Have Some Bugs And Features I Wish to List:
(Before I start I tested these one Console)
B1: Whenever you use an efficiency Pickaxe it for some reason applies fortune to and give you 4-20 of an Ore which is ungodly broken. (The same thing happens with fortune)
B2: For some reason Ive noticed the new table the addon adds is very buggy and can softlock someone (on Console I believe) if there's nothing to craft. I also generally couldn't use it properly as I couldn't upgrade my tools.
Those are the two more Game Breaking bugs which are the only reasons I'm giving it a 4/5 even if this is my favorite more vanilla feeling ore addon. Which is why I also have some suggestions
S1: I think having a guide and reworked progression for the armors would be a godsend for accessibility.
S2: Being able to create artifacts with the ores would be cool (And you could toggle one of each type in your inventory to get the effects.) Even if that's a bit of a stretch I think it'd be cool.
Over all this is a Great addon and it deserves a solid 4 Stars. And one the bugs are ironed out I think it'll be a 5 Star addon.
Great work man!

Thank you so much for the feedback! By the way, I really liked the idea of the artifacts.
