New Maces Overhaul

I’ve heard before that the mace code makes it impossible to enchant custom maces besides things like unbreaking and mending as well as minecraft bedrock not being capable of making any custom enchants but there’s multiple sword mods on this site that are able to have any enchantment possible on them, including things like density, breach and wind burst. I have no idea why they function in that way but I was just curious if that could factor into this mod eventually getting enchanted maces.
