Yes you right, but the thing is when you turn domobloot false in setting, All mobs will be affected, the main goal here is to only turn off the hostile mob loots and disable armadelo and silverfish orb and the non hostile mob like pigs chicken and other will be not affected, this thing that you couldn't do in minecraft settings.
