Its in the desert temple if you break open the tomb there is 2 husk spawners and a chest with the axe

I've searched everything but I can't find the compass.i found a shovel in a tree and dug up a rib cage with it but no compass I found an under water cave with a torch in it but NO COMPASS. Plea give me a hint.
