Resource Chickens (1.12+)

Sometimes it can be hard to build what you want in survival mode because resources can get scarce around you or you just don't have enough time to gather them all to build that castle of your dreams. Resource Chickens aims to help with that.

There should be ore chicken, wood chicken, dirt chicken, gravel chicken and Bedrock chicken (?).

The recipe for compressed cobblestone isn't working but the cobble chicken works.(mk1).

Hello, your mod is wonderful, you think of adding more chickens for example? If so, will it take too long? ah and my only problem and that does not appear the crafting of the chicken of cobble tier 3 I had to change the items by the creative to make the next tier more taking this and wonderful good work

Yes more chickens will be added, already have around 6 in the works! I am currently in the process of moving however so there will be a small hiatus but i will put out the update as soon as i am able.

The cobblestone and sand chickens are working but for some reason the dirt chicken (which I saw when I tried in an existing world) has seemed to have disappeared and I have a Diamond chicken now but it can't be crafted with diamonds or blocks of diamonds.

Interesting you see a dirt chicken? I never added a dirt chicken currently. Also yes a diamond chicken is added in the files but is only available in creative mode currently.

My mistake I went back and checked, I don't have a dirt chicken. I think I saw the compressed dirt and thought there was one, I would love one though as an easy way to fill up creeper holes lol

I've been seeing people saying they cant see the blocks or eggs in creative or the recipes wont work. I did some testing using the download link above and I seem to get those same problems when my world didn't have experimental game play checked in the world settings. When experimental game play option is checked everything was working on my end. Can anyone make sure that is checked and let me know if that fixed the problems for you?

I had it checked and it worked perfectly. If I could make a suggestion about the content of the addon I would ask that the mk 3&4 drop compressed versions of their block, the cost really out-weighs the benefit of those imo.

For me, most compressed and egg recipes won’t craft, in the storage section on the Minecraft home it says something is wrong with it, and not all eggs show up in the creative menu and not a single compressed show up

Hmm interesting. People keep saying recipes are scrambled or there's no recipes I've looked myself and even downloaded from the link above and its working fine for me so i'm not sure whats causing the problem for others currently.

I opened a new world with experimental gameplay on and found all eight cobblestone and sand eggs, but there was no compressed items or added crafting recipes at all, this was after your comment at 6:12

With all these new Add-Ons coming out for bedrock edition, I’m wanting Add-Ons for Java Edition more and more, I like Java Edition much better and would also like to have Add-Ons like these for Java Edition, for the Minecraft mods don’t work that well for me anymore and I would love to just insert a file into a Add-Ons folder and have these awesome mechanics.

Most crafting recipes are above. I tested the download myself and everything seems to be working fine. Is there anything in particular that your having trouble with?

The recipes are shuffled... pls fix it and also update it... it's a fun mod tho

This is a very nice addon but if this addon is on the latest version of minecraft v.1.11 but I think this will work but yeah Plssss update this and create more recipes for chickens

The add-on is for beta 1.12+ make sure experimental gameplay is checked for your world as well.
