Soul Tools Addon (1.17 Support)

Have you ever wanted a sword made out of souls ?

Maybe some tools ? some armor ?

Fear not my friend ! you have to wait no longer !

This addon adds a full set of tools and a full set of armor made out of souls fragments !

NOTE: Enable EXPERIMENTAL GAMEPLAY in your world options in order to use this addon!!!

This addon adds a new set of tools and a new set of armor

To craft the armor and the tools you will need Soul Fragments.

In order for you to obtain Soul Fragments you have to smelt Soul Sand.

The items are also available in creative menu.

Update:

Added Soul Infused Diamonds (To make everything a little more expensive)

You will use the Soul Infused Diamonds to craft the tools and the armor.

Recipes for tools are like every other recipes but using Soul Fragments.

Example:

Soul Sword
durability: 1881
damage: 11

Soul Pickaxe
durability: 1850
damage: 7

Soul Axe
durability: 1861
damage: 8

Soul Shovel
durability: 1861
damage: 5

Soul Hoe
durability: 1861
damage: 6

Recipes for armor are like every other recipes but using Soul Fragments.

Example:

Soul Helmet
protection: 5

Soul Chestplate
protection: 9

Soul leggings
protection: 7

Soul Boots
protection: 4

bro, I'm sorry. but this is broken. think about it: you just need wood, iron tools, 4 gold to make gold boots, and a bucket. then, you make a portal without any problems with the bucket, and you go to the nether. and after that, you spawn in the soulsand valley (or find it in the nether), then collect enough souls to make the most op weapon and the most op armor, without even getting diamonds. why? i literally don't need netherite, its useless. i can just collect some soul sand and there we go, an armor that is better than diamond. why? just... why?

That is the thing, the tools (except the sword) and the armor (except the chestplate) are worse than diamond, these tools are just above iron, but below diamond. Other than that I agree with you I definetly need to make them better and more expensive.
Any sugestions? :)

just my own humble opinion, I don't consider myself an authority: I think the trick to adding new equipment: if it's better in that spot between iron and diamond make it super rare but also un-craftable just as chainmail used to be and most horse armor still is, this is something that would be unpalatable prima facie to most players conceptually though so it would probably only work if included in a larger work/modpack where the feature is less the frontpiece

I love full add-ons. The ones that have in them what is in the vanilla game, but nothing extra. I love mods that don't replace anything in the game. You have added everything to your creation. From hoe to sword, from boots to chestplate. I am very grateful to you.

My take on the souls is that you need to insert them into items in order to make them weapon materials. This addon is a simpler shot than mine, but I love it.
