Welcome to SubnautiCraft! This add-on will transform your Minecraft world into the beautiful world of Subnautica! Minecraft's bland, shallow oceans will be much more beautiful and terrifying. Please note that this add-on is nowhere near finished. It is more of an early access like how Subnautica itself was for quite a while.

(Hopefully) fixed the file download
Much larger update coming soon.
- Most of the new models have been implemented, and animations are in the process of being patched.
- Oxygen tanks, flippers, and the rebreather have all been modeled and mostly coded, but recent updates have broken some old functions, and need to be patched to work for future versions.
- Loot pools are being updated to include new crafting items for use in making the vehicles and various blocks (stalker teeth for enameled glass, for example)
- Previous custom mechanics (including the new oxygen system) are being converted to use scripts instead of function files to improve performance dramatically for the whole addon.
My actual job has been draining away my free time and making it difficult to find motivation, but I am in the process of looking for jobs elsewhere to have a more consistent schedule that allows for me to continue my passions for modding and addon creation.
In the meantime, the current release DOES actually still work! (mostly) You just need to install it MANUALLY instead of letting Minecraft install it for you.. something about the older file format just doesn't want to auto install.

The team is a fraction of the size that it was originally, as the majority of previous devs have retired from addon making.
Subnauticraft has an update in development now that more devs are available to work on it. Included in the update are:
- New models and textures for most available creatures (some need a larger recode to work still)
- Custom equipment and the fabricator
- A full replica of Subnautica's oxygen system
There is no estimated release date yet, but progress is being made. Will keep you all updated.
