me and my friend were playing on the map and got stuck on the Mad King Quest where we weren't able to find our way across the 5th floor, it was probably something we got wrong but we can't get past after defeating the Beasts of the council, Please can someone guide us?
Otherwise, the game is super engaging and beautifully built had lots of fun exploring and killing mobs X3
Here we go :
1. Beast master dog doesn't teleport to you when you started the game
2. There's a loophole when choosing a criminal class. When you kill yourself by dropping a bomb before you started the game, your item would dropped in gravestones. And then you can pick to become a criminal again. It will give you another equip, emerald, and food. You can do this over and over to duplicate food, arrow, and emerald.
3. Queen bee's room is already open when you reach it. But it won't spawn the boss, so you have to find the two sea lantern key first.
4. One of essential lever key for bee's room is missing from the shulker box.
5. Once the two sea lantern key is placed, it immediately spawn the queen bee and sealed the boss room even though you are not inside it. Which means you have to enter the boss room by creative mode.
That's all I found so far. This map is still fun to play despite some of the flaws. So 4/5 star from me!
Had a couple weird issues. When giving the Gate Guard the Goblin King head, the event would not trigger. Being a Redstone nerd and map dev myself, I troubleshot and fixed the issue rather simply, but I can easily see it having been game ending for other players.
Second issue may have been user error; We went to the Queen Bee, decided to go to the surface, and when we came back down had to do all this stuff to build the bridge and get back to the room where the soul blaze had been (we had defeated it already), and the entrance to the Queen Bee was now sealed, but the bee was spawned in. I just hopped in creative and broke in to the room and we defeated the Queen, but again, could be considered game breaking/ending to other players.
Only other thing I would have liked would have been some form of quest log showing what we have and have not done. But I know scoreboard stuff is annoying from experience, so no hate for not including it. Lol.
Otherwise, it was quite fun, with some decently challenging puzzles. Class system honestly seemed more like a gimmick though. I played a Potion Master or whatever, which gives you instant harming 2 potions, which are entirely useless against the mostly undead enemies you fight. At least it keeps giving you more throughout the game!
My friend played beast master, and the initial teleport from the class room made the wolf disappear. So no wolf till we could buy another one later in the first town.
4/5 stars from me, but I can see why others may rate it lower.
