im not sure about making it break common ores like coal and iron as the concept of this vehicle is to make mining easier, therefore breaking non-ore blocks, about your game lagging is probably due to it either being on max graphic settings and your device is not capable of handling that, or your device is just not exactly the best to run the addon, as i've used this vehicle on my 10 year old computer, and it can run well even though it only has 4gb of ram

Maybe rather than giving noght vision, it can have a built in light source. Although im aware that dynamic lighting is difficult to do.
