Bits & Bytes: Teleporters

This add-on adds color-coded teleporter blocks that can be used to quickly move mobs, items, or yourself through a local area at any y-level. Use them to quickly travel through your base or mine!

does this work if your portal is outside the loaded chunk?

Sadly, no. This is one of the reasons why it's a short-range teleporter system. Even if you used things like ticking areas, it would only reach about a 180x180-block range.

I considered increasing the horizontal range, but chose not to because tests resulted in things like 348,500-line block definitions, 69,687 commands per tp, and 2MB -> 173MB+ add-on size 🙃

i have suggestion. everytime you place the teleporter it makes a ticking area, this will be a bit laggy

It’s amazing but wish there was recipe for it, also this turns off achievements in survival mode, anyone saying you want to put it on your realm make sure it’s a creative realm and not a survival realm as like I said it will disable achievements, And no one will ever get achievements again on that world,

But it’s a very cool addon!
