Concrete Slabs

Have you ever dreamed of concrete slabs being added to Minecraft? I know a few people who have, one of those being me so I decided to create it in the new Beta update!

The mod itself works well.
Only thing I found, I use light gray concrete for road construction, and I encountered 2 tones of gray when building.

Bruh, in 1.16.100.57 it's no longer works. Also in survival when you place slabs on another slab to combine it as a whole your amount of slab will not be lessen.

The issue about 1.16.100.57 seems to be a bug as it works for some people and not for others, keep in mind that these new custom block features are in beta right now. I addressed the issue about the slab count not going down in my post above, the only way I could think of fixing that in the current version of custom blocks would be to use a work around, which would be quite unreliable.

Already commented on that a few messages ago, here was my response:
"I’ve actually already been working on that, just waiting for mojang to do a few things on their part and a few restrictions I have to be lifted then I’ll be able to release it."

and you can add the "tag:stone":{} component to make it get mined faster by custom pickaxes but not vanilla ones for some reason

I might add it for mod compatibility's sake, I originally tested it with vanilla tools and it didn't work so I decided to remove it.

This is so useful! I've always liked the idea of concrete slabs. Can you make it so that there will be concrete stairs too? I would really love that.

Thanks, this is more of a prototype, I plan on improving the mechanics in the future. And as for how I learnt so fast, studying the documentations given to you is key, plus a little help from others with some syntax errors.
