Amazing duplicator add-on that does exactly what it should do. Perfect for saving time gathering resources, but definitely ruins the game's challenge when played (not the mod's fault though). It's hard to find the balance to have a duplicator mod and still keep the game's difficulty, and I don't think any duplicator mod had cracked the code. Minecraft revolves around collecting resources as one of its core gameplay after all, duplication makes it lose value.
Aside from randomly getting a mainhand item when accidentally stepping on top the block, this add-on is perfect and duplicates EVERYTHING, including mobs and modded items. Dropping in stacks even works. Duplicating the Duplicarium itself EVEN works. We enjoyed the mechanics very well and played it using other add-ons. It's the best, honestly.
i just can't help feel empty whenever I have duplicated the diamonds, gapples, totems, armor, etc... It feels like I've lost purpose playing Minecraft, especially since the recipe is so easy to make (get diamond, go to nether for glowstone, break obsidian all in 30 minutes). I could see it being good for builders and such, but honestly yeah it feels like cheating as well.
THAT said, this is a splendid add-on for its purpose and the best of easy duplication add-ons/mods I've found for Minecraft. Thank you for this :D 5/5
I needed to put this somewhere, but don't mind me! So I had an idea on how to possibly balance the Duplicarium...
How to get =
First idea: By chance when killing a boss mob like the Wither, Warden, Ender Dragon, or a custom mob.
Second idea; Through a rare pod structure that only appears once in a world which contains a chest similar to a trial vault but not requiring a key, which would give the 1 Duplicarium to each player and would deactivate indefinitely for the player that already got one.
Limitations = It cannot be crafted. There can only be 1 Duplicarium per player. No duplicating a Duplicarium nor Ender Essence (new custom item acting as the Duplicarium's battery).
Mechanics = It starts in a Charged state with 5 charges, reaching 0 converts it into an Uncharged state. While at a Charged state, the block cannot be destroyed with any means, but you can remove it when it becomes Uncharged. Get Ender Essence by defeating the Ender Dragon to return it to its Charged state. It duplicates the same as the add-on :D
