Fade Through Black Transition (OPTIMIZED)

Have you ever seen the black screen that fade-in and fade-out when playing Minecraft maps (especially from Marketplace)? Now you can make one for your map easily. This addon is pretty simple.

Select version for changelog:

Changelog
  • The optimized version (reduced size of black/white pic) is now the default version (It would still cover your entire screen).
  • The Old/original version is now the large version, in case it does not cover the entire screen.

How do I use as a title effect? What is the glyph so I can copy paste

Sorry for late response, but just use "/function ftblack" (black) or "/function ftwhite" (white). It's in the description.

Hello! Working on my biggest project yet, by any chance can I use this fade for my map with added credits?

This is great! Can I use this for some maps for transitions? I’ll add credits too. Great job!

Awesome addon! Is there a way you can do one using the glyph_E0 version since I use this current font png a lot. Thanks!

Pretty sure glyph_E0 is the font for the controllers and is separated with glyph_E1 afaik. Plus you can just download, run the behaviour pack, execute "/function ftblack" in the command.

Works with little to no effort needed to get it to work. My private world you talk to the airship captain, tell the airship captain where you want to go, they then tell you to go to the cabin and rest. You head down to the cabin and thanks to you and this awesome simple to use mod, the screen fades to black and when it fades back in, you are in the cabin of the airship at the destination you had chosen. Its a great mod thank you.

Simple yet incredibly useful addon, especially for RPG map developers such as I! Just wanted to let you know I'll be using this addon (with credit of course) for my RPG map.
Cheers!
