GoldenHelmet's Vanilla Bug Patches

This .mcaddon patches over 50 vanilla bugs, including entity behaviors, spawning/despawning, sound properties, and rendering offsets. It should be compatible with most texture packs. All of the patches are listed below with Mojang bug tracker references. Note that since the pack includes behavior changes it is not compatible with earning achievements.

Disclaimer: these patches are not endorsed by Mojang and are not based on any inside information from the developers. They are entirely based on publicly-available analysis of the listed bugs, most of which is my own. Mojang may decide to fix these bugs differently or not at all at any time. Whenever Mojang fixes or decides not to fix any of these bugs, I will remove my patch from the next version of the addon.

Please update this addon to version 1.19.10, потому что он блокирует нововведения из новых версий.

Will this ever be updated?

Eh? Did you have a question? Unfortunately this website does not have a notfication system for comments so it is not a good way to reach me. I don't visit this page regularly. You can find me on YouTube or Discord though.

Unfortunately that's not something that can be fixed with an addon as far as I can imagine.

I don't remember all but the campfire stacking fix was in the previous (1.3) versions changelog too and it's been fixed in the game after that. So what is changed in this 1.4 version? or is the changelog not updated?

Mcpedl versioning is weird, haven’t figured out how to set it. Select 1.0.6 from the drop-down.
1
Sorry, my bad.
I didn't see the colon next to the 'Removed from this version' line and thought that sentence was only true for the 'Ravegers now break nether plants' line.
Thanks for this update btw, I was waiting for this for starting new 1.18 survival world

Here is the latest addition list in case you can’t see.

Can you fix player created iron golems ignoring villages? MCPE-46240
1
Mojang resolved that one “works as intended”, so it’s not a bug. The behavior could be changed with a behavior pack but I would not do it in this pack.
1
Oh ok can u get rid of repairing iron golems tho since that's already added in the new update
1
Ayyy I didn’t know that you had the old gold helmet texture mr golden helmet
1
Is it possible to fix the shield bug when it is in the middle of the player?
1
That’s caused by an internal bug in client-server communication, sorry.
1
Oh...I forgot to say that you should add a java parity feature that when you cure zombie villager
it will discount forever
1
That’s hard-coded, can’t do with a behavior pack, sorry.
1
You should make java spawn mob rate plugin as well
1
It’s not possible to change the entire spawn algorithm with a behavior pack, sorry. Can only change things like relative weights of different mobs; biome, block, light, and distance checks; specific mob density limits, and herd size. It might be possible to emulate higher overall caps but you’d still have the base Bedrock mechanics of density areas and top-down spawn block searching.

A behavior pack can only change specific mob density caps, and biome, block, light, and distance checks. It might be possible to emulate higher population caps. But I wouldn’t put that in this pack b/c it’s not a vanilla bug.
