Okay so I think it could be placed in the shield slot and give you bonus in knock back boost or remove the durability
Nerf the drop chance and we are done

Also, can you add other levels to it such as netherite brute arm guard or emerald brute arm guard, and also there is a very small percentage to find one of the piglin brute who wears it and also uses it

Awesome, but i think it's a little expensive to repair, also what if you could equip it on the left hand slot and use it as a kind of shield?

I have a suggestion, add armor points for the arm guard plz so it could also give a little protection
