this mod reminds me of the mod that uses blocks that can be disguised as other blocks. I really like the idea of that mod, and I can't find anything like if for bedrock. maybe this could give you the idea to make something like this. if it's possible.

This is probably close to what you're looking for: Fake Blocks (Camouflage Blocks) - /fake-blocks-addon-1/ (can't post full links here)

It adds no-collision blocks disguised as regular blocks.
1
You mean framed blocks and copycat blocks?
1
The blocks don't seem to appear in the latest MC version

Tested with latest stable release, 1.21.90 and 1.21.92, both worked fine even with all the experiments ticked.

I also tried the older version and I think I got the effect you and the other users reported.

I suspect you installed the older version of the mod meant for 1.21.80. My bad for not renaming the file before uploading to CurseForge, sorry for that. I will remember to do that next time.

The link for the latest version is at the very top, the one with the file size 153.73 KB. Can you try that and see if they appear this time? Thank you!

All good now. Thank you!

Hey, I realized there is 3 downloads with slightly different sizes, but all the same names. Which one is the newest?
1
Sorry about that. I should have changed the file names before uploading. Anyway, the one at the top should be the latest one.

they import, but don't appear
1
Hi! If you're in survival, they can only be crafted with a stonecutter. I did not add recipes for the crafting table. In creative mode, you can use the filter 'polymorph' to find them in the item window. I also created a 'Polymorphs' group under the Construction category for easy access.

If they're still not showing up, could you tell me what version you are using and which experimental toggles are enabled in the world? Thanks.

Edit: By "don't appear", do you mean that the blocks aren't visible when placed? You've probably installed the older version of the mod. The one for the latest Minecraft (1.21.90+) is the link at the top. My apologies for the confusion.

the blocks don’t seem to be in the inventory, even with all experiments
1
I designed this for the stable release without any experimental features. In fact, it is incompatible with some of the experiments such as Custom Components V2.

In creative mode, they are under the Construction category. In survival mode, they can only be crafted with a stonecutter. Crafting table recipes are not available.
1
This is a really good addon! But can you update it to custom components v2? It doesn't seem to work when toggled with it...
1
Thank you! I can't promise you anything but I'll try to upload an alternate version with custom components v2.
1
Updated for 1.21.90. It now uses the Custom Components V2.
1
Niceee I can finally use it on my builds, thanks!
