Changelog for RLC v1.4.0
After being 7-8 months in development the well anticipated v1.4.0 update is finally here! Take your reading glasses, make yourself a cup of tea and delve into this changelog full of additions & changes!
Fixes
- Not worth listing any here, because most of the code have been completely rewritten.
Changes
Mobs
- Sheep now once again drop wool cloth.
- Wild cows no longer run away in fear, instead they "wait" for a perfect moment.
- Wild cows "can no longer" be milked, you can try, but I wouldn't recommend it.
- All animals which drop Leather, instead of dropping Leather now drop Rawhide.
- Regular Zombies now burn on sun.
Items
Scythe rework
- Scythes can now only harvest few crops: (Wheat, Potato, Carrot, Pumpkin, Carved Pumpkin, Melon, Cocoa Bean & Nether Wart).
- Each scythe has been assigned various harvest range, this value determines how many of the same fully grown crop it can harvest in one swoop (right click).
- Durability of scythes have been adjusted. Hammer rework
- Hammers can now hit multiple enemies at once, but they can no longer destroy blocks.
- Smash attack no longer deals knockback + damage to nearby entities around the hit target, instead it deals the knockback to the hit target(s) only.
- Each hammer has been given various impulse (knockback strength) & attack speed stats.
- Hammers now also have assigned forging power, heat loss & temper bonus (explained in forging section).
- Durability of hammers have been adjusted. Memory Draught rework
- No longer teleports you to your place of death.
- Has a built in menu (Sneak Right Click), it allows you to save your current location, which you can then teleport to on use.
- Has 3 charges before turning into "Mystery Draught", which allows you to craft it back into Memory Draught as an alternative ingredient to Ominous Bottle. Other
- Makeshift Torch description has been changed from: "Can be placed in Offhand" to "Can be put in Offhand". Reduced durability from 300 to 32, no longer loses it when held.
- Crude Copper Tools have been removed, due to addition of Vanilla Copper Tools.
- All Copper Tools now oxidize including Hammer & Scythe.
- Copper Alloy & Combustible Flint is no longer obtainable/craftable.
- Added most of the special variants of items to a "Extras" creative category (weathered, oxidized copper tools etc.) which have previously only been accessible via "/give command" or regular playthrough (copper tools oxidizing).
- Campfires no longer require gunpowder to craft.
- Items made out of raw iron nugget can now alternatively be crafted out of regular iron nuggets.
- You can no longer smelt ores inside of regular furnace.
- Other recipes may have been changed a bit, but I forgot…
- Plant Vines can now be harvested from leaves by all swords.
- "Spears" (not vanilla spears) have been renamed to Javelins to better distinguish them from Vanilla Spears.
- Javelins have their stats displayed.
- Javelins now play pickup sound.
- Increased durability of all Wooden Tools by 41.
- Items with durability also display which player obtained/forged it.
- Updated item textures of Wooden Tools, Copper Hammer & Copper Scythe, most items made out of Iron; Copper, Iron, Gold & Diamond Helmets to better match their model.
Blocks
- Forging Table is no longer obtainable/craftable, and has been stripped of all functionality, if placed down immediately turns into Iron Forging Anvil + special message.
- Wood Stumps now return the placed log into players inventory when interacted with.
- Wet Clay Bricks have less stages to go through before becoming dry.
- Diorite now rarely drops Quartz.
- Updated block textures of Cobbled Andesite, Mossy Cobbled Andesite & most blocks made out of Iron.
Other
- Added a dirt particle when harvesting ground crops with a scythe.
- Night no longer applies Blindness, instead a heavy fog surrounds the player, this can be mitigated by eating Midnight Snack, staying in well lit places reduces the heavyness of the fog, weather like rain or thunder reduces visibility even further.
- Feedbacks instead of appearing in the middle of the play screen, it now actually appears as a text in the world, so other players can laugh at your incompetence, or just terrible luck, whatever you'll blame first.
- Adjusted the diary menu, to include "General Settings", "Healthbar Settings", "Blinking Settings" & "Diary Settings".
- You no longer need to hold Compass to see your coordinates, you only need to have it in your inventory.
- You no longer need to hold Clock to see your days played, you only need to have it in your inventory.
- Clocks now also display the time in a 24-hour format.
- Healthbars no longer appear as a floating text above hit entites, instead it appears on players screen if directly looking at the entity.
- Reduced the amount of Items & Blocks emiting dynamic lights.
- LookUp is currently not supported.

Dynamic Items
- All dropped items turn into dynamic items, these items must be picked up by right click or sneaking.
- Some items have special animations.
Wooden Buckets
- Added a total of 7 Wooden Buckets variants. Wooden Bucket: (empty) - can pickup various liquids. Water Wooden Bucket: - mainly used to quench tools after reaching 100.0% progress, comes with a 10% durability penalty. Milk Wooden Bucket: - currently doesn't like being used in cakes…. Choco Milk Wooden Bucket. - WAIT WHAT!!! (the only purpose of milk buckets). Honey Wooden Bucket: - Better than your regular GLASS bottles. Soup Wooden Bucket: - eww beetroot. Stew Wooden Bucket: - Yay Stackable mushroom stews.
Clay Head Moulds
- Added Wet Head Mould, can be placed on ground and needs to dry like Wet Clay Bricks.
- Interact with a shovel during the wet phase to change the shape, it goes in this order: [Ingot, Sword, Spear, Axe, Pickaxe, Shovel, Hoe, Hammer, Scythe].
- Once it dries it can be picked up by interacting with a shovel.
- Dry Head Mould without any shape, can be shaped inside of Stonecutter.
- Due to a bug with weather, it will dry even when it rains. (same applies to Wet Clay Brick)
Forging |REWORKED|
- Forging System has been completely reworked!
- Added Forge a new block occupying 3x2x1 of space, accepts Crucible & Tool Head Tongs.
- Crucible placed inside of Forge, accepts either Raw or Ingot form of Metals - Copper, Iron & Gold.
- Crucible with any metal inside of it, can only be manipulated via Tongs.
- Once the metal melts it can be poured into a Tool Station containing a Clay Mould, each mould accepts different amount of ingots, after a while the Metal will solidify and can be picked up with Tongs (Ingots will instead just spawn the ingot above the station), picking-up metal has a chance to crumble the mould.
- Now it can be placed on either Copper or Iron Forging Anvil (Copper Anvil only accepts Copper Tools), now you'll require a hammer, the best first hammer you can obtain is Ironclad Bludgeon.
- The progress defines how much work can be done on the Tool Head, goes upto 100%, once it hits this you can no longer do any forging on the Tool Head.
- Next is Heat, it is shown in °C and a bar, keeping the bar at Perfect (orange) is recommended as it gives the best Condition bonus + allows the Tool Head to gain Temper. Progress gain is not tied to Heat.
- When a Tool Head Tongs is placed inside the Forge it heats the item up to the closest x10% and has a chance to increase this jump by additional 10% ex. Heat at 68% will increase to 70%, but has a chance to increase it to 80%.
- You can still continue forging even if Condition (durability) is at max, as long as the progress is not at 100%. Reaching Max Condition also gives +25% bonus Temper.
- Temper is translated as a bonus durability once the item is finalized, or as a bad forging repair (ex. if finished at condition of 140/190 with +20 temper, it will finish with condition of 160/190 with +0 temper, ex. 180/190 +20 temper -> 190/190 +10 temper).
- After reaching 100% progress it will ask you to quench the Tool Head, you can do this by either using a Wooden or Iron Water Bucket, but this reduces the Tool Heads Condition by 10%, or you can interact with a cauldron with no penalty.
- Afterwards it will ask to sharpen, you just gotta interact with Grindstone thats all.
- And lastly you'll need a Tool Handle, after adding it Empty Tongs will return to you and you can pickup your freshly made Tool.

You can either search for it on the CF site or use the link in the "Other" section on this page.
Hope this can predict some issues arising from downloading off MCPE DL. Also I would love if you guys joined my discord server, as communicating through comments requires me to be checking the page constantly :/
1) The first is that wild wolves at night have the spider mechanic that turns violent against the player. They could also appear with a low probability at night in their respective biomes (clearly during the day as well).
2) I loved the cow and the kick towards the player "‼️, it's great. But there are 2 mechanics that would make it harder to get meat from farm mobs, this would be based on the current mechanics.
. - Animals run away from the player unless the player is approaching them crouching.
. - Animals move away from the player, making it difficult to follow them for their meat, which makes the player run, but when the player hits any animal, the other members of its species will attack it (same current mechanic as the Wolves). It would be great since the player would not only have to chase the animals, but when they hit it, they would attack it, which would be difficult/dangerous and super troll.
. - This mechanic would be for all animals, but the cow would be the only animal that would kick the player haha.
I hope my opinion helps you, your addon has a lot of potential and your work, originality and creativity are greatly appreciated, as well as the time and effort you invested, thanks "‼️
