If you wanna find the structures easier then you can use the locate command with the prefix 'dmss:' which should show the list of names as suggestions like with vanilla structures.

I also don't wanna increase their spawn amount since it should remain a rare find ...

So, 3 is going to add more stuff in the future? Cause I am confused if 3 has less assets then 2 and they both are still being updated?

This, DM2 and the original Dragon Mounts will get updates.
And yes, 3 will add new and unique stuff that's different from 2 which is the point of the creation of 3.

And another reason is that the original Dragon Mounts 3 literally has the same assets from Dragon Mounts 2, so it's not even original.

Dragon Mounts 3 will be different from the *other* Dragon Mounts 3 that's old and unmaintained, which is literally just a broken version of Dragon Mounts 2 with less features.
I recommend playing Dragon Mounts 2 since it is more complete like the java version.

If you mean the literal exact copy of Dragon Mounts 2, there's a reason it was changed.
I'm changing Dragon Mounts 3 to be more uniformed and original, now that it's more heavily focused on magic rather than repeating Dragon Mounts 2's exact same idea.

If you want to play the definitive version of the old version, play Dragon Mounts 2.
