Studded Gear Addon

Did you know that there was supposed to be a new set of armor that was to be added to the game a long time ago? It was called Studded (or Leather-Chain) Armor! This addon puts this feature into the game once again, this time with full functionality!

This is one of the rare add-ons that are balanced and make sense. You are sacrificing rare armour type (chain) to make better armour with the same defense of iron armour but for cheaper (I'm not counting the effort you have to put into finding chainmail :P) and with it's own benefits and drawbacks. Amazing!

Could add the ability to dye the studded armor (of course only the leather parts will affected). Also nerf the armor points by two or three because the protection is a bit too much. Lastly, perhaps give it a set durability so that it could be better suited for survival. Maybe it could be a optional different version? Anyways simple but amazing Addon!

Do you intend to change the texture to be based off the modern leather and chain armor?

Yeah, I actually thought about that. That will likely be in an update, but I felt the old textures would be more nostalgic and more true to the original. But yes, I plan on making new textures too, for sure
