MINOR UPDATE
- Reworked fogs :
- Fog now has a priority order in the game based on its intensity and type. This prevents situations where low-intensity fog could replace high-intensity fog.
- Reworked the player sound effect :
- All player's sound effect volume has been decreased, except for the hurting sound effect. The sound volume is now more consistent.
- Minor bug fixe, such as :
- Some food items were not affected by the water bar system (such as melon, for example). It has been fixed.
- Other minor bug fixe.

Do you have the latest version of the addon ? Because the features you describe are normally already in place. When a meteorite explodes in the ocean, you may experience lag for a few dozen seconds because of kelp's item. Afterward, the radiation removes items as the fog spreads.
Regarding the white particles you describe, they only last a few seconds ; I doubt these particles are the cause of the lag.
In any case, if you play the addon in survival mode without using debug mode, you shouldn't encounter this kind of problem because the meteorite event takes place on day 6, when there is no more water on Earth.
I advise against using debug commands (/function) when you are on a low-end device.
