🔵 The Titan (Boss) — Combat Overhaul

⚔️ New Combat State Machine

The Titan's behavior has been completely rebuilt.

Old component groups:

  • normal_mode
  • rage_mode

have been replaced with a much cleaner system:

  • melee
  • ranged
  • rage
  • rage_hammer
  • rage_slam

More attacks' additions possible in future.

This gives The Titan proper close-range, ranged and enraged combat phases.

🎯 Targeting Improvements

  • Replaced behavior-based targeting with minecraft:on_target_acquired
  • Added minecraft:behavior.look_at_target
  • More reliable target tracking
  • Smoother attack transitions

🔨 New Attack Event

Added:

  • ti:hammer_strike

to support the dedicated Hammer attack phase.

🧹 Event Cleanup

Custom events were moved into the proper namespace.

Example:

  • on:target_acquired
  • on:target_escape

➡️ became

  • ti:target_acquired
  • ti:target_escape

🛠️ Bug Fixes

✅ Attack Animations Fixed

The animation controller referenced:

query.is_attacking

which is not a valid Molang query.

Because of this, attack animations silently failed.

The entire attack transition system now uses valid Molang queries tied directly to the new combat component groups.


❤️ Healing Animation Fixed

The animation referenced:

variable.is_healing

but this variable was never actually set.

As a result, healing animation was completely unreachable.

It is now fully wired into The Titan's behavior.


🟣 Script Improvements

Old scripts removed:

  • armor_sounds.js
  • block_trigger.js
  • durability_manager.js

Replaced with:

📦 block_interactions.js

Handles all block interaction logic.

❤️ titan_heart.js

Dedicated Titan Heart item logic.

🔧 utils.js

Shared helper utilities used across scripts.

Result:

  • Smaller codebase
  • Easier maintenance
  • Better separation of responsibilities

🟠 Resource Pack Improvements

✅ Manifest Fix

Fixed a Resource Pack UUID mismatch that could prevent the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack from linking correctly.


✅ Geometry Fixes

Converted

models/entity/ti_the_titan.json

into the proper

*.geo.json

format.


📂 Folder Cleanup

Reorganized block models into:

models/blocks/

including:

  • block.slab
  • block.stair
  • block.stair_UVrotations
  • block.stair_directional
  • Titan's Trophy geometry

🧹 Removed Legacy Files

Deleted unused files:

  • player.entity.json
  • block_slab_1_20.json
  • patnt.json
  • fish.json

Also removed obsolete PA-mobile held-item textures for:

  • Titanium Axe
  • Titanium Axe+
  • Titanium Hoe
  • Titanium Hoe+

🎨 New Assets

Added the missing:

  • Titanium Shard attachable
  • Titanium Shard item texture

✅ Validation

The entire add-on has been validated using:

  • ✔️ Visual Studio Code diagnostics
  • ✔️ Content Log GUI

to eliminate known content errors and validation warnings.

Resolved duplicate display names.

Previously:

  • Titanium Heart

Now consistently displayed as:

Added proper display names for both:

For me all the titanium items are textureless

I'm so sorry to hear that but that was caused by a UUID mismatch between Resource Pack manifest and Behavior Pack manifest which disconnected the add-on files causing unexpected glitches. It was a single bug which has been fixed in the under development Release update which will increase stability.

Hello sir/ma'am! You can find Titan's Lab Dungeon structure naturally underground in rare biomes(like Mesa Plateau) and mutated biomes(like Sunflower Plains).

What do you mean? Everything in this add-on is made manually without any use of AI. AI enhanced images disclaimer only means that the logos of project and updates are AI generated but everything except them is manually designed.

how do I know that?? I don't if you're telling the truth or not. and frankly, if you're using an AI image, I don't think you are. I'm sorry if I came off as overly harsh, but I'm just tired of seeing obvious AI generated images on this site. like, just use a screenshot or something, bro

Just download and load the add-on into your game, create a new world and then enable all Experimental Features and then activate the add-on. You'll see that all images are either stock images or manually textured designs. Nothing is AI generated. Hope it changes your decision. Thank you!
