As long as you follow that, it is fine to remix and redistribute.

This is awful. Why don't you add some shadows so it looks less flat. And don't make everything a stupid bar. Give it some personality for god sake.

This is more like a. Super minimalistic 1x1 texture pack for the gui.

There are more Material-designed resource packs for Java Edition, you may ask the creators to port if that's what you prefer.

Sorry but a couple of squares and circles isn't material design. This is more minimalistic. If you want material design you need to add shadows and a little bit more detail :)
