bro why glazed terracotta is ment to have rotations for pattern making that's it's whole thing. even blocks like dirt or glowstone it has rotation to make it more live like or less perfect and like you actually made a wall. but just my opinion 🤷

random block rotations are based on the seed(the random number that is used to generate your world) so if players can look at the rotations of blocks in your world, they can use an algorithm to find out the seed you're playing on. this is obviously not good if you want to keep your seed a secret, like if you were trying to speedrun Minecraft and found the perfect seed, but didn't want your opponents to have it. very useful res pack
