Minecraft: Phasmophobia

Playing Ghost Hunters, you visit haunted locations to collect evidence of Ghosts. But you're not the only one hunting! Paranormal activity drains sanity of players and allows Ghosts to appear and hunt to turn everyone in Ghosts as well.

I am very excited for the next map update even if it is the final one! I really love this map and it has given me hours of fun and thrilling entertainment. I only have 1.20.13 because I play on Minecraft Education Edition. I love this map, thank you DeathlyTroll!

Probably *THE BEST* minecraft bedrock map I've ever played, and with the confirmation of a new update its only getting better. though do you have anywhere where we can follow you or (if you share the progress), the progress on the update? thanks for this amazing map!

I just looked at the changelog and what happened to the old map with things like the High School, Asylum, Raiju, Onryo, Campside, and more? Can you please, please add a link to that map here if it still works? I just don't understand why the old one isn't here when it had so much progress and resemblance to the real game. The old map was worse in terms of visuals and mechanics. It was not made to work with an add-on since it arose from a vanilla Minecraft Phasmo map. (Items were 2d and command-block based, ghost was an invisible villager...)

Hey DeathlyTroll it’s me again, I would really appreciate if you could tell me the commands and process I would have to do in-game to implement my own ghost and behavior. This map is great, it’s a shame you lost interest in it a while ago but it has inspired many people and had entertained people for hours. This project is the biggest most successful horror map on mcpedl. Good luck adding features and with your life :)

The ghost is Add-on based and runs commands by BP animation controller.
When a player is close/individual ghost conditions are met, the ghost will trigger an event. This selects a ghost event randomly OR one of several hunt thresholds (sanity) is queried.
Besides this the ghost is using the "send_event" behavior to cast entity interactions on nearby objects.
The way the AC is controlled by (BP) properties is very complex, so it's best practice to look into the files.

Can you make it so that when you want to do the same building over again it resets the game so the lights are off and the door is shut again, but overall it is a really great mod to play single or multiplayer

Hello! Will there be any plans on adding asylum and highschool?
Also I have a few ideas that shouldn't be extremely hard to implement:

What if there was a pvp mode where one person is the ghost?

What if when you throw items that they become the entity version?

This ones probs the hardest but what if there was flashlight battery and glowstick burnout?

Item limits.

Also the map seems to have broke in 1.20.60 since the ghost can now leave the building? and it just doesnt feel like its working, Any chance for a hotfix if not any idea on what the problem is so i could manually fix it?

2 extra things

Rain would be really nice for atmosphere so id love to see it added maby with a new grayish texture and louder sounds lighting randomly striking would also be cool and would scare the crap outta me

Also I think the map needs a ready up feature so your not forced into a map you dislike.

and about highschool and asylum they alone are terrifying due to how large and empty they are and i would love to see them implemented because fan is really buggy and honestly kinda bad

The asylum's central complex used in the fand's update was made by me, but it's still a lot of work to be finished. Although I don't want to make it big. Highschool won't come. I build in once in an earlier version but lost it over time and I won't start from scratch.
The biggest issue with the ideas you mentioned is me. I barely find interest in this project so don't expect big additions in the future other than those few I made since the last official update. The things I already finished also includes a sort of item limit. Done in a way I like more than the system featured in the Fan's update/original game.

Hi, sorry to ask, I know you don't have much time to work on this map, but can I ask if it's possible to you make the flashlight go offhand? It would be very useful, especially when playing without the power on and to avoid being too op, you can reduce the number of items you can carry to 3 instead of 4, then players will use the offhand to place the flashlight

It's very easy to code this in. The problem I have is performance. Currently the flashlight has a significant performance impact and I don't want to let it run continuously next to another item.

I understand. That's a shame xD. The crucifix can stop the summoning circle? Also, it would be hard to code a function where the spirit box just work with the lights off?

This crucifix's power was not intended.
And regarding the spirit box - I was always worried of making items complex to use. Most MC players are not familiar with the original game. And this is not ment to be a game that you'd spend more time on and learn for.

Ah, I see, you wanted to make it simpler and easier. I too don't know, lol, one of the hearts is mine, maybe people liked the lantern idea. A guy below wrote a short text thanking you, he got like 7 hearts, this map is really good! There's a phasmophobia map in the java version, but I prefer this one, it looks more like the original game and I like the mechanics better.

Hey so I have another question, me and my friends have gone ahead and looked in the actually mechanical parts of the map and have found multiple unused maps such as an asylum, a beach mansion, and a weird cabin on top of an icy mountain. Are these going to be added and can you add a CCTV camera please? My friend refuses to go in the building, he is too scared but he is smart with the evidence and behavior, it would just make things a lot easier as well. Thanks again DeathlyTroll! Hello, Is it possible to make a mechanism where the ghosts changes their room? Also, a blocked item like the evidence book, but instead, it's a voice icon you can call the ghost by name and anger it, where leads to trigger some event with a chance, and an ambience like the original game when you enter the house, that is just some ideas I think would be cool as a big fan of this map, see if you like one of them (: , but maybe it's too tiring and hard to do it... anyway, this is one of the best maps that I had played, I know that after the next update, you will probably stop updating the map, you deserve some rest, amazing job!

Thank you. Your ideas sound very interesting, maybe I find the motivation to add some of them. The ambient music would be so important, but I'm afraid I'd need to create it myself somehow, since there seems no template..

maybe these ideas are a bit ambicious, haha, the sound would be really cool, If I could, I would really like to be able to help, but hey don't overload yourself, add what you really like, the game is already very good, anyway, thank you for replying, not all creators do that, once i writed some ideas for a small game on a discord group, they ignored completely, hahaha, so i appreciate it.

Hey DeathlyTroll this map is absolutely awesome, I have a few questions though. When does the final update come and please keep the version requirement at 1.20. All ghosts (Even Wraith) will sometimes step in the salt but it doesn’t change the salt appearance, though it still counts as a successful task. When we go to hillside we never get any items, can you fix this please? Thank you so much DeathlyTroll this is the best map I’ve ever seen!
